Spring Individual Campus Recognition Awards

HSC students may apply for individual campus awards (recognition only – not scholarships) via the separate links for the following awards:

The Regent’s Award for Outstanding Juniors
Campus Life Award   (Juniors and Seniors)

Letzeiser Honor List (Seniors)


NORMAN CAMPUS:
Norman campus students may apply for individual campus awards (recognition only - not scholarships) via the CASH web page or

  • The President's Award for Outstanding Freshmen
  • The President's Award for Outstanding Sophomores
  • The President's Award for Outstanding Transfer Students
  • The President's Award for Outstanding Volunteers
  • Junior Awards

NORMAN CAMPUS INSTRUCTIONS:
If Norman campus students wish to apply for Campus Awards, they must first access CASH.ou.edu to complete the General Application and be sure to check the box under the “Involvement” section that states: “I am interested in applying for Campus Awards, such as Outstanding Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Transfer awards, Big Man or Big Woman on Campus Awards, and the Letzeiser award, among others.”

Once they complete all of the required questions on the General Application, they can submit the General Application and then click on Opportunities on the top of the screen:

DOE Scholars Program Accepting Applications

The DOE Scholars Program introduces students and recent college graduates to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) mission and operations.

Why should I apply?

Being selected as a DOE Scholar offers the following benefits:

  • Stipends starting at $600 per week for undergraduates and $650 per week for graduate students and post graduates during the internship period
  • Limited travel reimbursement to/from assigned location
  • Direct exposure to and participation in projects and activities in DOE mission-relevant research areas
  • Identification of career goals and opportunities
  • Development of professional networks with leading scientists and subject matter experts

 

Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be an undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate of an accredited institution of higher education majoring in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and related areas.
  • Must be pursuing a degree or have received a degree within 5 years of their starting date in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) discipline or have demonstrated interest or experience in a STEM field that supports the DOE mission.
