OCCF Scholarships for your Engineering students!

 Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors: Professionally Engineering the Future Scholarship

  • Applicants must be attending a university in Oklahoma and enrolled in an undergraduate professional degree program accredited by EAC/ABET or ETAC/ABET for Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Applicants must be full-time students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree.
  • The scholarship is available to all eligible applicants entering their third, fourth or fifth year of school.
  • Applicants must have a collegiate GPA ≥ 2.5.
  • Financial need is considered.
  • Preference may be given to students who have graduated from an Oklahoma high school.

The OKPELS Professionally Engineering the Future Scholarship is a one-time award; recipients of this scholarship are invited to reapply. Recipients may not receive the award more than 3 times. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, required supplies and book expenses. Payments are made in two installments (fall and spring semester) each academic year directly to the student’s school after proof of enrollment has been provided to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Payments are issued in the academic year immediately following the application year.

The OKPELS Professionally Engineering the Future Scholarship was established in 2018 to benefit and support creative and diverse student leaders whose goals are directed towards Professionally Engineering the Future through the principled practice of engineering as a future Engineer Intern (E.I.) and Professional Engineer (P.E.). This scholarship is an endowed fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
