Sooner Engineering Education Scholarships

Six to ten Boggs Family SEED Scholarships are available for Fall 2021 with possible renewal. Each scholarship is $1,000 to $2,000 depending on availability.

Sooner Engineering Education (SEED) is a pK-12 outreach program that teaches students about engineering. As a member of the SEED Center outreach team, Scholars assist and eventually lead planning, organizing, and running educational outreach activities. Each Scholar will commit, on average, six hours per week to support SEED activities and should have at least two week-day mornings free from coursework obligations. Scholars must have a 2.75 GPA and maintain full-time enrollment.

Applications will close Sunday, May 2, 2021. Interviews will be held the week of May 4th—7th. These positions are subject to all OU policies regarding official interactions with minors. SEED Center & Engineering Pathways office will provide education for teaching and communicating engineering.
